This is our fourth AI Newsletter and If you are just joining us, welcome!

These are exciting times, especially with AI making rapid advances. The old saying that knowledge is power has never been more critical than it is today.

Arm yourself with knowledge and understand why AI awareness training can help you in your job, business, or both. The knowledge we share in these newsletters and the video lessons in our academy are designed to help you compete, be more efficient, more productive, and have more fun.

And AI is not just for work. Want to have some fun with it? Are you a songwriter? No? Well, you can be now. Just go to Suno and type in a prompt, like “Write me a love song about the one that didn’t work out and broke my heart.” I know it’s a little gooey. You can even tell it to make it a country or a blues song.

Here is what to expect: Suno will write the lyrics, put music to them, and sing them back to you. Crazy or what?

To understand the urgency of how fast AI is moving, you just have to look at what countries worldwide are doing. They’re all preparing their citizens to adapt, innovate and thrive as AI keeps evolving. These countries are doubling down on upskilling people and setting an actionable example.

Canada announced an investment of USD$1.77 Billion in to AI
The US announced and investment of USD$32 Billion into AI
Singapore is offering AI education to its citizens (ages 40+) - they will receive $4,000 to take training courses for better employability.
Italy invested 30 Million Euros to upskill workers in AI
South Korea is investing $10 Billion into AI Education and Research
France is investing $5.5 Billion into AI Education
Japan launched “Atashi” a learning platform that creates personalized AI curriculums for every student
The US is adding AI into K-12 education through personalized learning, and virtual tutors.

Want to create an image using Dall-E? You can do it right inside ChatGPT-4. You can even ask ChatGPT-4 to create the prompt for the image.

Here’s a lesson from Allie K. Miller (Follow her on LinkedIn) on AI image prompting on creating an image of the eclipse. Notice the details and format. First a description, then layout, then coloring and style. AR stands for aspect ratio, and higher stylize numbers will produce more abstract/artistic renderings. Test these out or make your own.

💡 Sound Smarter: This Week’s AI Term Everyone Should Know

Autoencoders: Neural networks that learn compressed representations of data and then reconstruct the original data from those representations, like a secret code for images or music.

Bonus Term

Back Propagation: An algorithm that lets neural networks learn by figuring out how much to adjust their internal connections based on how well they perform on a task, like a student correcting their mistakes based on feedback.
